Battle of the Buildings

An event site that had to work before, during, and after the event, and still read correctly once it was over.

The event’s changing needs

A dated event has a problem most marketing sites do not: it changes state. The site is built to carry registration and schedule information ahead of the event, then resolve into a post-event recap once the inaugural competition finished, without becoming a dead page.

Content and development

The structure covers the competition itself — a results hub, participating teams, a schedule, and a championship matchup between the two finalist teams — alongside the surrounding event material: an About page, sponsors and partners, and a media gallery.

Store and responsive delivery

A shirt store with its own checkout path runs alongside the event content, and the whole system is responsive across phone and desktop.
